Nalini Bala Memorial Award - For lifetime achievement in the field of Mathematics Education and Popularization.

Citation: Mathematics is one of the most interesting and easy subjects. But learning mathematical concepts is one of the most serious problems in an advanced human society. Millions of mathematics educators tried to solve this problem from the inception of our social set up. But the problem yet to be solved. In that sense, those are trying to solve this problem are real solvers. But these solvers face real problem from their own community due to inertia of change and diversity of problem In that sense, the life of mathematics educators are most difficult and challenging, many times they are being over criticized, isolated, abandoned and they have to lead a miserable life only to be recognized by future generations. Nalini Bala Memorial Award is constituted to recognize one of these brave people who sail in counter current to solve a real social problem.
