SPECIAL YEAR ON INDUSTRIAL MATHEMATICS

2002)
In 2002, the Industrial Mathematics Group (IMG) in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Bombay will host a special year-long programme devoted to INDUSTRIAL MATHEMATICS.
The IMG will organize general lectures on Industrial Mathematics, efficient use of public domain software packages for the campus community. As part of this Special Lecture Series pertaining by the experts from both India and Abroad.
At present the group IMG has planned to organize from January'02 the following weekly lecture series and invited talks.
Seminars and Colloquia on the proposed theme by people from academia as well as from industry and Research & Development Organisations.
