Preamble :

There is a severe shortage of manpower in these areas of Mathematics in India (see, the DST Report on Mathematical Sciences). Therefore, at a recently concluded conference at IIT Kanpur, it was decided to form a Forum on Differential Equations. Mainly, the Forum will work towards fostering the interest of the students in these areas and also provide a common platform for the researchers to share and discuss their problems. Membership of the Forum is purely on voluntary basis.
