About me: I received my PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Genova, Italy, in May 2014, under the supervision of Professor Aldo Conca.
After graduating, I spent two years at IMSc Chennai, as an postdoctoral fellow and was at ISI Bangalore, as a Visiting Scientist fellow for three months. Since then, I have been with IIT Bombay
Mathematics department as a postdoctoral fellow.
- Research area: Commutative Algebra
In particular, graded free resolution and Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of graded module's. Here, module's correcpond to
geometrical objects (Blow-up algebras, Residual intersections),
combinatorial objects (Edge and Cover ideal of Graphs) and study of their
homological aspects such as free resolutions, regularity, and Koszul algebras etc.
- Teaching Assistant for the B.Tech Undergraduate courses:
Autumn semester 2017: MA-105 Calculus.
Spring Semester 2016: MA-106 Linear Algebra and MA-108 Differential Equations.
Summer school 2016: Course instructor in the "Young Talent Nurture" (YTN) programme at IIST, Trivandrum, on Complex Analysis.
