Course Description
Prerequisite: This course assumes knowledge of Multivariable Calculus..
We will cover Chapter 1 from Gullimen and Pollack' Differential Topology book after which we will cover chapters 4,5, 6 from Milnor's book titled Topology froma Differentiable Viewpoint.

Tutorials
Tutorials will be assigned every week and will be posted on Tutorial site for the class.
Seminar
Every student is expected give a 30 mintue seminar on a approved topic related to the material covered in class at the end of the semester. Please make an appointment to get the seminar topic approved.
Exams
The final exam will be comprehensive. Make up exams will be offered only
when you have a valid excuse. If you
are cleared by Dean of Student Affairs to be excused from an exam then
you should talk to me to arrange for a make up exam.
