Title: Resolutions of Monomial ideals-IV
Abstract: In this series of talks we discuss resolutions of monomial ideals. We derive formulae for the graded Betti numbers of stable and square free stable ideals, and use these formulae to deduce the Bigatti-Hulett theorem which says that lexsegment ideals have the largest graded Betti numbers among all graded ideals with the same Hilbert function.
