Title: Arithmetic of elliptic curves and congruences

Abstract: Congruence phenomena in arithmetic occur in a variety of ways and always encode information of great interest. In this talk, we illustrate this by considering congruences of L- values between elliptic curves whose residual galois representations are isomorphic.
