Abstract: In continuation with the previous talk, we will prove Serre's theorem linking the Euler characteristic of the Koszul homology and the multiplicity. If time permits, we will define the multiplicity symbol (possibly a slightly generalised notion of it) and then aim to link it up with the previous results.
