Title: On the irreducible mod-p representations of unramfied U(2,1)

Abstract: Let F be a non-archimedean local field of odd residue characteristic p, and E/F be the quadratic unramified extension, and G be the unitary group U(2, 1)(E/F). In her recent thesis, Ramla Abdellatif has classified the irreducible subquotient of principal series (over \bar{F}_p) of G. In this talk, we will recall her main results briefly, and then discuss some realizations of the remaining (supersingular) representations (over \bar{F}_p) in the 0-th homology of some coefficient systems of G, following ideas of Paskunas. This is joint with Karol Koziol.
