Abstract:For 1,3 and 8 there is one and only one positive integer 120 such that 1,3,8 and 120 satisfies :

If you multiply any two ( distinct ) and add one, it is a square. This is a theorem of Baker and Davenport. Professor Dujella will speak on such tuples and consider more general questions in his talk.
