Title: On generalized rank weights

Abstract: In this talk, we discuss the notion of generalized rank weights, which may be seen as a generalization of the notion of generalized Hamming weights of linear codes to the rank metric, and similarly has a wiretap code interpretation. We present recent results on the generalized rank weights of cyclic codes. This is joint work with J. Ducoat.
