**Title:** Differential Geometric Complex Analysis

**Speaker:** Subhas S Bhoosnurmath, Karnatak University

**Abstract:** Differential Geometric techniques in Complex Analysis give new insights into the classical results like Schwar's lemma, Liouville's theorem, Picard's theorem and the Riemann Mapping theorem.

The aim of my lecture is to look at the Poincare metric, Caratheodory metric and the Kobayashi metric and see their utility in the study of above mentioned classical results of complex analysis.
