Title: Introduction to Boltzmann Equation

Abstract: I will present the basic facts on this equation, recall the physics and the mathematical difficulties. I will recall the results of Diperna-Lions, and others on this equation in the cut-off case. In the last part of the second talk, I will also talk about the non cut-off case and try to show the main difficulties in this case. Open problems in this area will be presented.
