Title: Semi-linear Elliptic equations admitting similarity transformations
Speaker: Mousomi Bhakta, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology
Abstract: In this talk I will talk about the equation
in a smooth domain $\Omega$ where
and $h$ is
a nondecreasing function which satisfies Keller-Osserman condition. We will
discuss the subcriticality and supercriticality condition. Under the existence
of global barrier for the above equation, we will discuss positive solutions
with an isolated singularity in the subcritical case and boundary value
problem for the above equation with the boundary data given by a positive
regular Borel measure (possibly unbounded). We prove that in the subcritical
case, the problem possesses a unique solution for every such measure. This is
a joint work with Moshe Marcus.
