Title: Approximation of feedback control laws stabilizing the Navier-Stokes system

Abstract: We are interested in the feedback stabilization of the Navier-Stokes equations around an unstable stationary solution. The issues we would like to study are: When the PDE system is stabilizable, how to find a feedback control easy to approximate by numerical schemes (e.g. when the PDE is approximated by a F.E. method), and for which we can prove a local stabilization result for the discrete non linear sytem? When the discrete feedback law is applied in the PDE model, can we guarantee the local stabilization of the closed loop nonlinear PDE system?
