Title: A Sharp Upper Bound of the 1−Norm of the Inverse of Special Lower Triangular Toeplitz Matrices

Abstract: In this talk, we introduce the necessity of the estimation of an upper bound of 1-norm of the inverse of some special lower triangular Toeplitz matrices which arise in application of numerical methods applied to Volterra integral equations. Then we present a simple survey on this issue. Finally, we give a sharp upper bound for the problem with some conditions for some special classes of lower triangular Teoplitz matrix such as Abel’s matrix. This bound was a conjecture for more than 35 years. We also provide an answer the Brunner´s question related to this problem.
