Title: Topics in Inferential Statistics - II

Abstract: Various topics in inferential statistics will be discussed. Firstly, inferences on the non-centrality parameters of non-central t-distributions are considered, which have applications for signal-to-noise ratios in quality control. Secondly, stepwise decision procedures are considered for the effective comparisons of new treatments in biostatistics. Thirdly, some general recursive integration techniques are presented that allow more efficient computations for statistical problems.
