Title: Limit theory for topology of the Boolean model

Speaker: D. Yogeshwaran, Technion

Abstract: The Boolean model (union of balls centred at random points) is a well-known model of a random set in stochastic geometry with many applications. In this talk, I shall try to summarize some recent results on the topology of the Boolean model as measured by its Betti numbers. In particular, I shall try to describe strong laws, concentration inequalities and central limit theorems for the Betti numbers of a Boolean model on Poisson and Binomial point processes.
