Title: Stabilization of heat equation by the backstepping method - II.

Abstract: This presentation considers the one-dimensional heat equation
with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We will study how we can make an
unstable (heat) system stable by means of some external input (control
function) through the boundary using the backstepping method. Our main
goal of this talk is to understand the method of backstepping for the
simple 1-d heat case.
