Title:* Rees Valuations - Part 1 *
Abstract: In these expository talks, we will discuss the Rees valuations
and Rees valuation rings associated with an ideal in a Noetherian ring, as
well as their applications to asymptotic prime divisors and various
multiplicities. If time permits, we will describe the Rees valuations
associated with a finitely generated torsion-free module.
