Title: Almost commuting variety and quantum Hamiltonian reduction

Abstract: I'll be talking about the notions of commuting varieties and 
almost commuting varieties of Lie algebras in Types A and C. Then I'll 
quantize these notions and discuss their applications to the 
representation theory of rational Cherednik algebras via Hamiltonian 
reduction.
